A family history record.

Ancestors that I have deeply researched have been entered into this blog. THIS site holds all of the information that will not fit on the below mentioned site. Added information for any person and more people can be added at any time. Clicking on any photo or document on a page will enlarge it.

Note: This site tends to shrink words, add blank lines, and overall drive me crazy. The words and photos will stay though.

Further information that includes 'family tie' charts for each person can be found at the www.TribalPages.com link that is shown for each person and it is direct to the person. There you can see family ties, get to other family members and use options.

GUILD Huber 1846-1847

Father: Charles GUILD 1809 NY -1867 OH
Mother: Anna Maria CAMERON 1809 NY - __

1846 – Birth:  Huber GUILD was born on 13 May 1846 in Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio to Charles GUILD and Anna Maria CAMERON.

1846 Residence:  Home in 1846 was N s Water, between Elm and Plum in Cincinnati.  Birth was most likely on the kitchen table, a way of the day, with the help of a midwife.

1847 Mar 19 – Death:  Huber died due to congestion of the lungs at age 10m 6d.

Obituary:  No obituary was found.

1847 - Burial:  The burial for Huber was on 15 Apr 1847 in his fathers lot, the Charles GUILD lot, at Spring Grove Cemetery, Hamilton Co., Cincinnati, Ohio, at Section 35, Lot 112, Grave 9.  Burial is #211 at Spring Grove Cemetery.  The undertaker was Jos. Rust.

1907 – Removal:  Spring Grove has recorded that Huber was removed to Wesleyan Cemetery in Cincinnati on 16 Nov 1907, a short ways down the road.  This has to be an error.  This date would have been ten days after the third wife to his father died, she being Mary Inez who was his widow, then remarried with the last name of LUCAS.  Possibly he was moved from grave #1 to #6 which would have put him next to his step-mother, Emma who died in 1861.  Per the cemetery drawing and listing, this is what did happen.  It then puts all of Charles’s family on one side of the lot and Mary Inez’s family on the other side.  The center large monument is also marked as such with GUILD on one side and LUCAS on the other which includes FELIX, Elsie being her oldest daughter.

Note:  I (Donna M. ST. FELIX) had a conversation with Spring Grove about this removal as (1) I can see no reason for his removal and (2) there was the removal of Birdie E / Budie E AMONS from this lot to Wesleyan on the same day and I stated that this information on the card seems to have been a mistake and then they also printed it on the correct card.  I was told that they could do a survey and poke the ground at a cost to be sure there was or was not a burial there, unless I wanted a family member buried in the grave for which it would then be free.
